Tennis Racquet overgrips
For a long time I didn’t bother with overgrips. My hands don’t sweat that much and I really didn’t see the value. After I started getting more expensive racquets and playing more frequently I started wearing out my expensive leather and rubber grips. It was a hassle to change those grips out so I thought I would give overgrips a try.
The standard everyone talks about is call “Tourna Grip”. You can buy them in just about any store that sells tennis racquets. They’re pretty easy to put on and you can find tons of YouTube videos on how to do it. I’m not all that precise about it . . . especially near the top when you tape off the end. . . . In fact, I’m downright sloppy about it, but I haven’t noticed that being sloppy at this has made any difference in my game.
Overgrips can be used to make your handle a little bigger, pad your handle and absord sweat from your hands.
